With the right profile, high-efficiency glass and correct installation, a large sliding window can provide excellent insulation.
Can a sliding window threshold arm be installed?
This is possible with many systems. We assess the floor structure and water drainage during the measurement.
Are there special locks for sliding doors?
Yes. Lockable handles, modified locking points and additional security can make opening from the outside more difficult. We tailor the fitting to the chosen system.
How do I add extra sound insulation?
Acoustic glass, a suitable profile and precise airtight installation limit sound transmission. The glass structure must be chosen according to the noise source and facade load.
How long do PVC and aluminum sliding doors last?
With normal use, PVC sliding doors often last 20 to 30 years and aluminum versions 30 to 40 years or longer. Clean guides and have rollers, handles and seals checked in a timely manner.
